For a half-day trip, the Dajti Ekspres cable car on the eastern edge of the city climbs Mount Dajti in about fifteen minutes and pairs well with the vast Bunk'Art 1 bunker museum nearby. Spring and autumn — roughly April to June and September to October — bring the mildest weather; August is hot and November the wettest month, so plan indoor stops if you travel then.
